Taylor Swift - "Love Story" - Live Nov. 12th 2008 on ABC
Sugarland - "Love" - Live Nov. 12th 2008 on ABC
On Friday November 5th, 2008 Toby and Harmony headed to Nashville to begin
rehearsals for the 42nd annual CMA Awards. The goal was to re-create Taylor Swift's video "Love Story", choreographed by Robert Royston, live on stage during the awards show.
We also rehearsed a number for American Idol star Kelly Picker.
Ultimeatley her manager cut that number as he felt it was distracting Kelly.
We were also asked to be extras for CMA Award winners, Sugarland, as they needed people to open up several white umbrellas at the beginning of their performance.
The 42nd annual CMA Award aired on November 12th live on
ABC. Taylor was nominated for Female Vocalist of The Year. Sugarland won awards for song of the year "Stay", and for Vocal Duo of the Year.
